Plein Air at The Confluence Greenway, Jan 10
Lon did some plein air painting at The Confluence Greenway yesterday. They’re about 12″ x 14″ or so, both in oil.

New works from the Big Cedar Lodge Paint-out
These were done at the Big Cedar Lodge Plein Air Paint-out, Oct 12-15.
Done with one weekend, on to the next!
We had a lovely time at Art in the Park in Highland, IL, especially since Lon won the award in the oil/acrylic category. That’s always fun! Sales were slow but they were about what we expected. The organizers were great to the artists, and we had a great time hanging out with the friends we’ve made the past few months on ‘the circuit’.
Now we’re getting ready for the plein air event at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, MO next weekend. A couple days of painting for Lon and a couple days of lolling about for me – what could be better??!!?? The show is on Saturday evening from 5-8, so if you’re in the area be sure to stop by and visit – andy maybe buy a painting or two. :)
